Day 1 - Arrival Athens

Arrival Athens airport. Meet & Greet by CruiseClub staff and transfer to your hotel. Welcome wine party and dinner at the roof garden of your hotel.

Day 2 - Embarkation & Kea

Athens, the cradle of democracy and birthplace of western civilization is a vibrant city where the new and the old coexist. The majestic Parthenon rises above the city, its ancient glory still visible in the timeworn stones. Our panoramic tour of the city includes the most significant sites and a visit to the Parthenon on Acropolis Hill. Sail from Piraeus port on board the Variety Cruises, a traditional 11 - cabin caique, for a quiet, picturesque island with "virgin beaches· of clear blue water, stone houses and windmills (especially in the Koundouro area). Dinner in one of the quaint restaurants with original traditional Greek cuisine!

Day 3 - Syros Island

The "mistress of the Cycladic", Syros is the capital of the Cycladic islands, and rich in history and culture. Two cities, two worlds; it is here that Orthodoxy meets Catholicism. One can visit the Cathedral of St. George, the town hall that was built by the famous architect Ziller, the Theater of Apollo, a miniature of "La Scalia" of Milan, and the hundreds of neo­classical homes. Syros is especially well-known for its Loukoumia, sugar covered sweets equivalent to Turkish delight. This afternoon a special workshop on Greek sweets, pastries and candies, accompanied by the traditional Greek coffee. Dinner at one of the numerous good restaurants the island has to offer.

Day 4 - Mykonos Island

Mykonos is one of the most famous Greek islands, especially for her nightlife! Cubic white houses, narrow stone-paved streets and those wor1d famous windmills give Mykonos a unique "air". On Mykonos you will find beautiful beaches, chic boutiques and elegant nightclubs. Beneath its sophisticated surface, lies a quite essential Greek island. Hundreds of tiny chapels dot this blue and white-washed island. Sunset cocktails at "Galeraki bar· by the sea in the Lillie Venice area followed by dinner at nearby "Sea Satin Market" one of the island's most exclusive restaurants, that used to be a sculptor's outdoor studio.

Day 5 - Delos Island

Today we visit the sacred island of Delos, mythical birthplace of Artemis and Apollo, god of light and art. Today the island is uninhabited: ii is a vast archaeological site whose superb monuments draw thousands of visitors. Delos, for a thousand years or so after the ninth century BC, was the political and religious centre of the Aegean. The archaeological site covers almost the entire island, starling on the west side, where the sacred harbor was. From the harbor, a majestic sacred way led to the sanctuary of Apollo, where there were temples, altars, votive offerings and other buildings. Our expert guide-lecturer shall show you around the remains of the city, the mosaic floors of private homes, the broad avenues and narrow side-roads, the stores and temples, wells and cisterns, as well as the famous lions, the guardians of the sanctuary. Return to Mykonos and dinner tonight is at "Chez Maria's" one of the island's most cosmopolitan restaurants.

Day 6 - Naxos Island

Naxos the largest island of the Cycladic, some call it the "beauty of the Aegean I"
The stone-paved narrow streets, the old stone houses, built in and out of the Venetian castle, the churches, the blue of the ocean and the golden sun, draw a beautiful picture that will enchant you! Walking tour of Naxos. As the island is a famed cheese producer, we shall make sure you have a chance to sample some at your dinner tonight!

Day 7 - Paros Island

Paros was once one of the most significant centres of the Cycladic cultures. Her white houses, the narrow stone-paved streets, the numerous churches found in every corner of the island will remain in your memories forever! Anti-Paras, located across Paras, is a beautiful smaller island with fantastic beaches. Choice of crash-courses in windsurfing and diving. Dinner tonight at the traditional "To Papadaki" taverna overlooking the yacht's docking area!

Day 8 - Santorini Island

After breakfast this morning, we disembark and take a short ferry ride to the island of Santorini perhaps the most breathtaking of all the Greek islands. The town of Fira's whitewashed houses, open-air cafes and glittering boutiques cling to a steep cliff, accessible by cable car or mule. To the south is Akrotiri where recent Minoan excavations support the theories that Santorini might be the fabled lost continent of Atlantis. On arrival, meet at harbor and transfer to your hotel. We will then visit Pyrgos village in the south part of the island to witness the daily life of the villagers and have time at leisure. We then pass through vineyards, which produce superb wines of Santorini thanks to its rich volcanic soil. Proceeding to the spectacularly located Boutari Winery we will gain an insight into how wine was traditionally produced on the island. After a guided tour of the facility you will sample some of the wines with local cheese and crackers. Dinner at "Tomato" one of the hip restaurants of Fira town, before enjoying the island's nightlife.

Day 9 - Akrotiri & Oia

In the morning visit the Akrotiri excavations. Often compared to Pompeii, Akrotiri boasts a much earlier age and preserves amazing ruins dating back to the second millennium BC. Walk through the well kept passage way in the excavated area and marvel at the beautiful pottery, the two and three storey houses, which were once decorated with renowned wall paintings, the staircases and a great variety of rooms, roads and squares of a city 3,500 years old.
Your destination this afternoon is Oia Village the crowning glory of peace and tranquillity. Built on the northern part of the caldera rim, it is here where many artists have been inspired due to its magnificent location, as you will see for yourself. with Its most superb views of the caldera, the rest of the island itself and the Aegean Sea. Drive uphill along the rocky sides of the caldera and pass through many traditional villages in order to reach the unique village of Oia, with its architecture typically Cycladic and its houses resembling 'bird nests· tucked away into the dramatic cliff-side. Walk through the village along cobble-stoned streets marvelling at the wonderful panoramic views and admiring the traditional architecture. Enjoy free time on your own, where you may either wander through the many art galleries available or perhaps relax over a coffee. Dinner at "1900", a local restaurant in Oia village overlooking the caldera.

Day 10 - Departure

Transfer to Santorini airport to board your departure flight.
