What the Venue Specifications Mean

Audience capacity describes the number of spectators, not the number of musicians who can perform on stage. The space required by an ensemble depends on its seating or standing arrangement, instruments, percussion, risers, conductor position and access requirements.

Stage dimensions, proscenium openings and total stage areas describe different aspects of a venue. Our team will help check the relevant configuration against your ensemble’s technical requirements before a venue is confirmed.

Specifications are indicative published information. “Upon request” means that the relevant detail requires confirmation.

Plan the Performance Around Your Group

Venue selection is one part of planning a performing tour. Rehearsal access, equipment, technical staffing, concert format and audience arrangements also need to be considered.

Tell us whether your group is seeking a formal concert, a private performance or an exchange with a local ensemble. We will assess the requested format alongside the travel itinerary and the requirements of the proposed venue.

Any concert promotion, local collaboration or audience-development arrangements must be agreed separately. Attendance, ticket sales and local ensemble participation are not guaranteed.
